Come tour a world-renowned greenhouse tomato facility and sample delicious hydroponically grown tomatoes.

FILLMORE

Chivas Skin Care raises French Alpine goats and uses the fresh milk to handcraft goat milk soaps. Sign-up now for a free tour of the farm and soap workshop (fully booked last year). While the farm and soap workshop are only accessible to those on a tour, the soap showroom will be open all day.

Tour their full selection of roses, fruit trees, berries, and general landscape plants. Free hayrides through the 40 acres of Valencia orange orchard and nursery, and also a kid's area featuring BUGS!

MOORPARK

Apricot Lane Farms is dedicated to creating a well-balanced ecosystem with rich soils that produce nutritent-dense foods while treating the environment and animals with respect. The property is home to Biodynamc Certified avocado and lemon orchards, over 75 varities of stone fruit, a vegetable garden, pastures, pigs, goats, chickens, ducks, guinea hens, horses, highland cattle, and Maggie, their swiss dairy cow. Ojai citrus history, family lore, fresh-squeezed orange juice and tastes of a variety of seasonal citrus fruits. On this special farm day folks will be allowed to squeeze their own cup of juice and taste the way real orange juice should taste. You can learn how we are gearing up for next spring's record breaking Ojai Pixie tangerine crop (valley-wide we plan to harvest over 7 million pound of fruit)! Before you go you can purchase our local honey, fruit and Ojai shirts, cups and hats.

Earthtrine Farm is a 12-acre paradise in the Ojai Valley that grows more than 100 different crops throughout the year. They are famous for their culinary herbs, and a wide assortment of greens; including, chard, dandelion, green leaf and kale. Farmer BD will be on site guiding people around the farm, but you are more than welcome to tour the grounds yourself.

Tour olive press house and taste cold-pressed olive oil.

OXNARD

Agromin will show visitors how the green waste they put in their recycling barrels is turned into compost that is then used by local farmers to help them grow healthier and more productive crops. Those who take the tour at Agromin will receive a complimentary bag of organic potting soil. Tours will be held at the top of each hour.

OXNARD

Come learn more about our family farm specializing in dark leafy greens, Asian vegetables and Persian Herbs! Visitors will have the opportunity to pick their own Organic "Lacinato" Tuscan Kale from one of our fields at the top of each hour from 11 am-2 pm. We will also be sampling our NEW Kale-icious Cardio blend of greens in a delicious and nutritious smoothie! Come join us to learn all about our local family farm and our array of nutrient-dense specialty greens.

OXNARD

Guests to the farm will be able to see newly-planted strawberries, blueberries, brussel sprouts, and hydroponic strawberries. State-of-the-art harvesting aid machines will also be on display.

OXNARD

Visitors will enjoy tours of our LEED Certified, sustainable,"green" facility. Tours will be every 45 mins starting at 10:00 am. Visitors will also get to sample fresh produce and learn all about our fourth generation farm!

PIRU

Rancho Camulos is situated within an 1,800 acre working ranch and is the best remaining example of a Spanish-Mexican rancho in its original rural environment. Visitors at this National Historic Landmark will tour the 1853 adobe home, cocina, winery, chapel, schoolhouse and the beautiful gardens featuring over fifty varieties of roses. The tours detail the lives of the native Tataviam Indians, the del Valle family who established Rancho Camulos in 1853, and the Rubel family, who purchased the ranch in 1924.

Meet-and-greet 5th-generation farmer Chris Sayer, and learn about the Farm Lab, which is SEEAG's hands-on field trip site located on the farm. See how Petty Ranch grows citrus, avocados, figs, and other speciality fruit.

Tour a farm that has a very active education outreach program. Hansen has 4-H youth agricultural literacy programs including farm field trips and classroom outreach serving K-5th-grade students countywide. Additionally, the Center is an approved site for the VC Master Gardener Program.

Join Calavo at our booth in the park near the Cummings Road entrance, then accompany us on a tour of our high-density avocado orchard to learn about the journey of an avocado. Guests should enter at 1141 Cummings Road and park in the parking lot on the left by the basketball courts.

Learn about how cattle ranchers raise grass fed beef in diverse drought conditions. 15-20 mintue long hay rides through the pasture leaving on the hour from ten to three. Tours start at 12:00 pm!

Come learn about how the agricultural industry helped to attract settlers to Ventura County from around the world beginning in the 1800s. In addition to learning about the history of agriculture within the region, visitors to the museum can also experience exhibits showcasing the machine age artwork by artist Wendell Dowling, the history and evolution of tractors, and the role of aviation in agriculture. Providing essential context, this stop is a wonderful complement to the rest of your Farm Day tour itinerary.

Rincon will be at the Farm Lab at Petty Ranch. Come learn about insectraries' important role in agriculture, and how Rincon Vitova participates in SEEAG's Farm Lab Education Program.

Tour Salad Bar Farms, a farm that incorporates permaculture and native pollinator habitat. Visitors will learn about farm to school in Ventura County and how students are learning how to grow food, deliver it to their cafeteria for consumption that day, and composting their own food waste. Tours will take place every hour.

Tour a high-tech laboratory that specializes in Nutritional Monitoring and Food Safety! Tours will be given every hour from 10:30 until 2:30 and will be led by scientists who help clients get the best out of their land as well as test the food we're eating to make sure it's safe to eat.
