What is Farm Day?
Farm Day is your chance to peek inside over 20 participating Ventura County farms to learn about agriculture first-hand. What really happens on farms? Come, find out.
Attendees pick the locations they want to visit, and drive themselves to the farms. Each farm has fun-filled activities for the entire family to enjoy.

Yes, you pick and plan your day.
How many farms can we expect to visit on Farm Day?
To enjoy everything each farm has to offer, you are encouraged limit your itinerary to two, possibly three, farms on Farm Day. It will depend on which farms you select and where they are located. Please note that some farms require advance reservations.
What should we wear for Farm Day?
Dress according to the weather. You’ll be outside for most of the day, so make sure you wear hats and sunscreen to protect yourself from the sun. Wear closed-toe shoes since you’ll be walking on farmland!
Is Farm Day free?
Yes! There is no charge to visit the farms. However, you can purchase Farm Day merchandise or tickets to the kick-off barbecue.
What are the hours?
10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
What can we expect to see at each farm?
Every farm is different, but the farms will feature a number of family-friendly activities such as free produce, tours, agricultural book signings, and food and beverage samplings.
Will food be available at each farm?
Many of the farms will offer taste testing. Or, you can pack a lunch and enjoy it during your Farm Day adventure.
Will there be a barbecue this year?
Yes! The Farm Day Barbecue will be on Friday, November 2 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. You can purchase tickets here, when they become available.
